User selects an item's production type, inner packaging type, and pack count. The extension calculates the items cubic ft (in inches, (length x width x height)/1728), in feet, (length x width x height)).
The extension then queries our packaging records stored in Chrome Extension Data - Packaging to find an item that has the same production type, inner packaging type, pack count, and cubic ft and returns the recommended packaging for the item.
The extension then takes that recommended packaging and queries our profitability requirements stored in Chrome Extension Data - Profitability and returns the required gross profit.
The user then enters our buy cost.
The extension takes the current buy box price (this field must be editable) and subtracts the Amazon Fulfillment Fee, Referral Fee, and Our Buy Cost to determine the gross profit. The extension then compares the gross profit to our required margin of that packaging size and displays the button according to the matrix in the pdf.
