I am currently a teacher in an underserved area who created a non-profit to bring nature and horses to children in inner city neighborhoods in a manner that inspires and promotes their desire to learn. We focus on social emotional learning to lay the foundation.

We are currently working at a property owned by Tidewater Trails. Our goal is to obtain 3-5 acres in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk or Chesapeake areas of Virginia. There are grants I am currently researching provided by the USDA for equipment and building of structures.

The grant writer I am looking for would have an open mind and willingness to grow with us in regards to their hourly rate.
