Visual designer for healthcare startup - Upwork

We're looking for a great visual designer to help us creating slides for our pitch deck and also support branding and identity work as well.

We are looking to create a healthcare brand, Feather Health, that is empathetic and accessible, to help people that have chronic pain. The startup is in its early stages and is seeking a skilled visual designer to help us imagine the graphic possibilities of our deck and the brand more broadly.

About Feather Health: 1 in 3 Americans are currently suffering from chronic pain, and the overall costs of pain outweighs the cost of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes combined, costing the US $600 billion dollars a year. This is a massive problem that payers and providers are demanding new innovation as our current healthcare system is not working. Feather Health is a digital platform that aims to help people manage chronic pain without over-reliance on addictive medicines or expensive surgeries.

The founder is a former Googler who has personally dealt with significant chronic pain and has incubated this startup at the Harvard Business School. They're building a platform that aims to be the "NOOM for chronic pain", providing patients with resources, coaching, and community offerings to help. They are starting with neck and back pain and currently running an MVP with 10 patients. The team was a winner of the MIT Hacking Medicine Challenge and is working with the President of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and Professor of Pain Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Earlier this year the startup was a winner of the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition and are fortunate to have committed investors as a result.

Hourly Range: $40.00-$60.00
