Circuit (PCB) Board / Electronics Repair Technician - Upwork

Acme Revival is seeking a circuit (PCB) board technician to join our team remotely and perform electronic repairs at his/her own location, on their schedule, utilizing their own equipment.

Acme Revival will send freelancer physical circuit boards and other components directly to their location via courier UPS Overnight, with expectation of diagnosis, repair, etc... within 72 hours.  Freelancers generally start at around 15 hours per week.

Freelancer will be required to test, troubleshoot and repair electronic, electro-mechanical and/or mechanical devices to component or sub-assembly level. Further, freelancer should be able to use critical problem solving skills to disassemble machines, and use best-judgement practices to determine "next-steps".

Job Purpose:

Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic, electro-mechanical and/or mechanical devices to component or sub-assembly level.


Nature of Duties:

Troubleshoot circuit boards to the component level without board schematics

Use systems and test fixtures to determine PCBA and assembly functionality

Ability to use standard measurement and test equipments such as: digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and power sources

Troubleshoot, repair, calibration, and testing of electronic assemblies, instruments and mechanical assemblies at the lower or component level

Complete rework on assemblies (component level) and/or systems as a result of testing

Ability to utilize soldering to re-work board as a result of testing


Hourly Range: $32.00-$50.00
